These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bookino (the “Service”) (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bookino. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including photos, bios, and messages.

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content:

  • Does not violate applicable laws
  • Does not infringe third-party rights
  • Does not contain prohibited or harmful material

4. Content Moderation

To maintain platform safety, we use automated and manual moderation tools, including third-party services.

By using the Service, you consent to your content being processed for moderation purposes. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate our policies, with or without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
  • Upload illegal, misleading, or offensive content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to access systems or data without authorization
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes

Basically: don’t be the reason apps need moderation policies in the first place.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app.

Upon deletion:

  • Your personal data will be permanently erased
  • Your profile and content will be removed
  • Your access to the Service will terminate

Some technical backups may persist briefly but are securely deleted in accordance with our retention policies.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the platform or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the country in which our service is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
